IMC NEWS
Daily Hours:
7:30-8:00- daily for 7th and 8th graders
12:00-3:00- Monday - Thursday
10:00-11:30 and 12:00-1:00 - Friday
Classes are scheduled to visit the IMC each week.
- grades K-2 - 1/2 hour every other week
- grades 3-4 - 45 minutes every other week
- grades 5-8 - 1 hour every other week
- grades 7-8 - as needed basis with their classroom teachers during the morning
The IMC is open during 3/4 , 5/6 and 7/8 recess for students to come in and read quietly, or to complete homework assignments.
Checkout Procedures:
Students may borrow 2 books at a time for a period of 14 days. ( K students may check out 1 book) Books may be renewed after 14 days if no other student is waiting for it. Reference materials must be used in the IMC or checked out to the classroom teacher for use in their class.
If a book is lost or ruined, students are responsible for replacing the book. You may either pay the replacement cost or donate a book of similar value to the IMC.
Book Donation Program:
Books may be purchased for the IMC in honor of someones’ birthday, milestone, etc. A book plate with the persons name and occasion is placed inside the book. We notify the person to let them know that a book has been dedicated to them.
